THOMAS A. ADDLEMAN
Managing Partner and Lead Attorney
Education: Mr. Addleman graduated from Westminster College in 1999 and he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, School of Law in 2002.
Licensure: He is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas, state and federal courts.
Areas of Practices: Tom is the founding attorney at Credit Law Center and is responsible for handling consumer rights litigation. He prosecutes claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Tom is also a prosecuting attorney for several jurisdictions throughout Missouri which allows him to hone his trial skills.
Outside the Office: Tom is the proud father of twin boys and husband to a wonderful wife. When not suing debt collectors and credit reporting bureaus, he enjoys travel and numerous outdoor pursuits (hunting, fishing and conservation).
ANDREW M. ESSELMAN
Education: Andrew received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City – School of Law in 2012 where he focused on civil litigation.
Licensure: He is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts and is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
Areas of Practice: Andrew focuses his work at Credit Law Center on matters arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He also regularly handles state debt defense cases.
Outside the Office: When not practicing law, Andrew spends his time at home with his wife, their two children, and their two over-enthusiastic dogs. Andrew is an avid sports enthusiast, regularly playing golf, basketball, softball and many other sporting activities.
ANTHONY M. HERNANDEZ
Education: For his undergraduate education, Anthony graduated from Rockhurst University in 2012 with a major in History and a minor in English. Anthony then graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City – School of Law in 2016. There he was a staff member of the Urban Lawyer, a quarterly law journal.
Licensure: Anthony is licensed to practice law in Missouri state courts.
Areas of Practices: Above all else, Anthony takes pride in using his abilities to zealously advocate for his clients. Anthony primarily focuses his efforts on matters arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Previously, Anthony has worked with appellate practice, family law, and land use. Through his experience, Anthony has honed numerous skills and traits, such as an eye for issue spotting and an attention to detail.
Outside the Office: Outside of the Credit Law Center, Anthony can be found binging Netflix, trying new foods, and spending time with his friends and family. Anthony enjoys staying active and getting outside as often as possible.
