Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this site or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective October 14, 2026
Who we are
This policy covers creditlawcenter.com and the forms, chat and phone lines it links to. “Credit Law Center,” “we” and “us” mean the firm operating this site.
What we collect
What you give us. When you fill out a form, start a chat, call or email us, we collect what you share: your name, email address, phone number, comments, how you heard about us, and any credit report or other document you upload.
What your device sends. Like most websites, we automatically receive basic technical information such as your browser type, device, the pages you visit, the page that referred you, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this with cookies and similar tools.
What others send us. If someone refers you, or you reach us through an advertisement or partner, we may receive your contact information and the source of the referral.
How we use it
- To contact you about your inquiry and explain your options
- To review your credit file and, where it may be warranted, refer it to our attorneys
- To provide the services you sign up for and communicate with you about them
- To understand which pages, ads and partners bring people to us, and to improve the site
- To keep records required of a law firm and to comply with the law
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who run things for us, such as website hosting, online forms, live chat, phone and email systems, and our client management software. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
- With a credit monitoring provider, if you choose to enroll, so we can see the reports needed to work your file.
- With credit bureaus, creditors and collectors, when sending disputes or correspondence on your behalf as part of services you have engaged us for.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Calls, texts and email
If you give us your phone number or email, we may contact you about your inquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time by telling the person you speak with, replying to an email, or calling us. If you receive text messages from us, our text messaging terms apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep the site working, remember your choices, and measure visits and the performance of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not email sensitive documents. Use the secure upload on our forms instead.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, and meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the records we are required to keep. Email [email protected] or call 1-800-994-3070. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
